What is a real cloud phone?
A real cloud phone is a physical smartphone, hosted by us, that you control from your browser. Ours are iPhones and Androids in the USA, each with its own SIM, number and carrier data. It is not a business "cloud phone system" for VoIP calling, and not a virtual Android running on a server.
How is this different from GeeLark and other virtual cloud phones?
GeeLark describes a cloud phone as “an Android device environment that runs on cloud infrastructure instead of a physical phone or a local computer”, and says its cloud phones do not include SIM cards or eSIMs. Ours is the phone itself: real hardware, its own SIM and US number, and the carrier’s mobile data, with no proxy to attach.
Do I need a proxy or a SIM card?
No. Each phone goes online over its own SIM’s US mobile data, so there is no proxy to buy, no SIM to ship and no phone to own.
Is it a real SIM with a real US number? Can I get SMS codes?
Yes. Each phone has its own SIM card and mobile number on a real US carrier network, and SMS codes arrive on the phone. Whether a given service accepts a number is that service’s decision.
iPhone or Android: which should I rent?
The one your apps run on: iPhone for iOS-only apps, Android for Google Play and Android workflows. Both cost the same.
How much does a cloud phone cost? Is there a trial?
$109.99 per month for an iPhone or an Android. A 7-day trial costs $49.99, and you can upgrade it to monthly at any time without changing phones.
Can I keep my trial phone when I upgrade?
Yes. Upgrade the trial to monthly whenever you like: you keep the same phone and the same number, and nothing on it is erased.
Can I install any app?
Yes. Install apps from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with your own Apple ID or Google account, as you would on your own phone.
Where are the phones, and what location do apps see?
The phones are in the USA, and location services read USA because that is where the phone is.
Can my team use the same phone?
Yes. Share a phone with a teammate from My Phones whenever you like.
How responsive is it from Asia or Europe?
That depends on the distance and your own connection, so we do not quote a number. The 7-day trial is there for exactly this: test it from where your team works before you rent by the month.
What happens to the number when my rental ends?
The number stays with the phone, and after your rental ends it may go to another customer. Do not use it for accounts you will need afterwards, for example as a recovery or two-factor number.
What happens to my data at the end of a rental?
When a rental ends, the phone is reset and everything on it is erased. Pay the renewal invoice before the end date to keep the phone and its data.
Will a real phone stop my accounts being banned?
No, and nobody can honestly promise that. Platforms judge accounts on behaviour and their own rules, whatever the device. Limits or bans an app puts on your accounts are not a fault of the service.
Can I use it for TikTok Shop US?
You can run the TikTok apps on it. Who may sell on TikTok Shop US is set by TikTok’s own seller requirements, and a phone does not change them.
What if a phone stops working, and are rentals refundable?
If a phone stops working because of a fault on our side, contact support and we will replace it, extend your rental or credit your account. If we cannot provide a phone after you pay, your payment comes back as account credit, which is non-refundable and non-transferable. Otherwise a rental that has started is not refundable.
How do I pay and renew?
With PayPal or crypto. We send the renewal invoice before your rental ends, the phone renews as soon as it is paid, and you can turn renewal off in My Phones at any time.
