Dedicated mobile IPs run on Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. Across the whole network, exits are targetable across 195 countries with 40+ live today — two different measurements, and this page is about one of the live ones.
On that IP figure: it is a rounded snapshot of the American residential pool taken on 17 August 2026, not a guaranteed floor. Pool size moves continuously as devices join and leave, which is why we round it and date it rather than printing a precise number that is wrong by tomorrow.

Distance is the one component of latency no amount of engineering removes. Signal in fibre travels at roughly two-thirds the speed of light, so New York ↔ Los Angeles — 3,974 km each way — has a hard round-trip floor of about 40 ms. Any provider quoting less than that on this route is quoting something other than a complete request.

A residential IP in the United States belongs to a consumer network, and the autonomous system it is registered to is the thing sites actually check. These are the networks most American consumer traffic exits through:

WHY PEOPLE BUY
AMERICAN IPS
Retail and marketplace price monitoring
US retailers serve different prices, stock and promotions by state and sometimes by ZIP. Pulling that from outside the country returns a page no American shopper ever sees, which makes the dataset quietly wrong rather than obviously broken.
Sneaker and ticket releases
Limited drops are the workload where datacenter ranges are blocked on sight. A dedicated carrier IP presents as a genuine mobile subscriber, and a dedicated one is not competing with other customers for the same address.
Ad verification by market
Checking that a campaign renders as booked means seeing it from inside the market it targets. City-level residential targeting puts the request in the right metro rather than merely the right country.
Account management at volume
Long-running sessions on US platforms want a stable identity. Static ISP addresses hold the same IP across sessions, which rotating residential deliberately does not.
WHEN THIS IS
THE WRONG TOOL
- If the target does not inspect the IP at all, a datacenter proxy is cheaper and faster. Pay for residential trust only where something is actually checking.
- If you need one identity to persist for weeks, rotating residential is the wrong product — use static ISP. Rotation is a feature, and here it works against you.
- If you are being blocked rather than throttled, 5G will not help. It buys throughput, not trust; the carrier IP is what buys trust, and 4G presents the same kind.

QUESTIONS
Is using a US residential proxy legal?
Using a proxy is lawful in the United States, and routing your own traffic through a different IP is not in itself an offence. What matters is what you do through it: the terms of the site you visit, the nature of the data you collect, and the laws that cover it. We are not your lawyers, and a provider who answers this question with an unqualified yes is selling you something.
How much does a US proxy cost?
Rotating residential and static ISP both start at $19.99 for 5 GB, billed once, with no expiry on the data. Dedicated mobile is billed per IP per month rather than per gigabyte: $85 for 4G and $110 for 5G on US carriers, with no data cap and no overage.
Can a US residential proxy be detected?
Yes, by a sufficiently determined site. A residential IP removes the easiest signal — the datacenter ASN — but it does not disguise request timing, TLS fingerprints, header order or behaviour. Anyone claiming undetectability is describing a product that does not exist.
What is the difference between a US datacenter IP and a US residential IP?
A datacenter IP belongs to a hosting provider and is trivially identifiable from its ASN. A residential IP is one a home ISP such as Comcast, AT&T, Charter or Cox assigned to a real subscriber line. Sites that care about the difference are checking exactly that registration, which is why the two behave so differently on the same request.
Do you offer city-level targeting in the US?
Yes, on the residential pool — requests can be pinned to a city and the exit is selected within that geography rather than routed there afterwards. Dedicated mobile is targeted by carrier rather than by city, because a mobile IP belongs to the operator’s pool and not to a fixed address.
Where do your US residential IPs come from?
This is the question worth asking every provider, not just us. In March 2026 the FBI stated publicly that residential proxy IPs are obtained either with the device owner’s consent or without the owner knowing at all, and listed bundled SDKs, free VPNs and malware among the routes. Ask any provider how their pool is sourced, whether device owners consented, and how someone opts out.
