For an account you intend to keep, a dedicated 4G or 5G line: given to no other Prox’Easy customer for the month, on a real carrier, holding one session for up to a day. A rotating residential address changes under the account and carries other customers’ history. A datacenter address is a server’s address, and TikTok is a phone app. With no account involved — market, Shop or ad checks — the rotating mobile pool fits better and bills per gigabyte.
Not accounts you plan to keep. A pool address is shared with other customers, changes on every request or after 120 minutes at most, and can land on two of your accounts in the same day, so nothing about it stays attached to one account. Those belong on a dedicated 4G or 5G IP: one per account, not given to any other Prox’Easy customer, sticky for up to 24 hours at a time. A proxy does not answer that; TikTok’s terms and our Acceptable Use Policy do. The US terms rule out automated extraction “except as approved in writing by TikTok USDS Joint Venture”, and the EEA, UK and Swiss terms likewise bar extracting data with automated software TikTok has not provided or approved in writing. TikTok’s own data routes include Research Tools, for qualified non-commercial researchers, and the Commercial Content API, for ads shown in the EU. No. Both check who and where you are, not what address you connect from: Shop US wants a U.S. resident with US identity, tax and payout details; Creator Rewards wants an account registered in one of its eight countries. What a proxy does for an account that already qualifies is keep it on a consistent address in its own country.
One. TikTok allows several accounts per person, “but not to deceive others or break the rules”, and ties each phone number and email to a single account. It publishes no number per device; its own article says only that you can “add additional accounts to your device and switch between them”. Since enforcement can reach “all of their accounts”, one flagged account can cost you the others. One dedicated IP per account.
Its rules do not mention them, checked 18 September 2026: nothing in the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, privacy policy or the help-center articles cited on this page, and the advertising help only as an ad category and a source of invalid ad traffic. What the rules do name is automation, bulk registration, fake engagement and evading enforcement. A proxy does not appear on that list either way; running a farm through one does.
Not by itself. Region is set at signup from the SIM card or IP address; changing it later goes through TikTok’s account-region setting, which may require that you have been in the new country and active there, that previous rewards are settled, and which may be allowed only once. A proxy gives a new account a country to register in, and an existing account a consistent address in the country it already has.
No, and nobody can promise that. A ban is TikTok’s decision about an account, made from the device, the history and the behaviour it has seen; the address is the one input we can change, and it is not the one that decides. A proxy keeps a legitimately run account on a consistent, correctly located carrier line — the precondition for trust, not the trust itself.
A proxy for TikTok does one job well: it puts an account on a carrier address in the country the account lives in. TikTok sets an account’s region from “the region of your SIM card or IP address”, so the address is a real input — and ours is a dedicated 4G or 5G IP on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile in the United States or Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom, Free Mobile in France. One IP per account, from $85 a month in the United States and $55 in France. This page also says, plainly, what an address cannot do. Viewing TikTok in other markets, with no account at stake, is usually cheaper on the rotating mobile pool when the checks are occasional — video uses gigabytes quickly — and has its own section.
“TikTok proxy” is sold as one product and bought for three different reasons. The pages that rank for the phrase do not separate them; this one does.

Because TikTok says it does. Region is assigned at signup from the SIM card or the IP address; some features are not available in every region; ranking weighs the country a video was published in alongside the viewer’s location and time zone; an Ads Manager account is created for one country and one currency and cannot be changed afterwards. Each of those is a reason to keep an account on an address in its own country all month, rather than on whatever exit a shared pool hands out this hour.
What the address does not do — which the pages selling TikTok proxies leave out — is make you eligible for region-locked programs. TikTok Shop in the United States says “Sellers must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident” and asks for a government-issued ID, a Social Security or taxpayer number, a US business address and bank details for payouts; the UK policy wants corporate sellers incorporated in the country where they register. The Creator Rewards Program is open in eight countries and requires an account registered in one of them. A US address satisfies none of that.
Nor does an address change the region of an existing account by itself. TikTok’s own change flow says you “may need to meet” requirements that include having “been in the country or region and active on TikTok”, and warns that once changed, you may not be able to change it again.

It will not make an account trusted. TikTok’s privacy policy lists what it collects from every session — “IP address, user agent, mobile carrier, time zone settings” and more — and the address is one item on that list. A dedicated carrier IP under a reused device profile, an account created yesterday, or a hand that likes forty videos a minute changes nothing about the profile, the age or the hand. When TikTok does not recognise the device, it asks for the password and “a one-time verification code (sent via SMS or email)”. A new IP does not clear that, and a restricted account stays restricted.
The clearest public example is a June 2026 thread on r/proxies: a user on a cheap US ISP proxy from another vendor was placed in the US region and shown US content, and every like and follow was reversed the moment it was pressed, while comments and saves went through.
It will not make automation allowed either. TikTok “strictly prohibit[s] automation tools, scripts, or other tricks designed to bypass our systems”, removes “fake likes, followers, or other inflated signals”, and may ban “all of their accounts” when someone tries to dodge enforcement. Its Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and privacy policy do not mention proxies or VPNs, and neither do the help-center articles cited here; the advertising help mentions VPNs only as an ad category and a source of invalid ad traffic. So: “not addressed”, not “allowed”. TikTok’s rules and our Acceptable Use Policy both apply. We sell the address, not permission.
Placement worked; trust was decided elsewhere. Anyone who tells you a proxy fixes the second half is selling you the first half twice.

Yes, for work where no account has to keep an identity: seeing TikTok the way a viewer in another market sees it, in as many markets as the job needs. That covers market research before a launch, TikTok Shop listings and prices market by market, a live ad checked by a person in each country it targets, and trends beyond what the Creative Center ranks. Location is a documented input to what TikTok shows. The help center names the viewer’s location, language and time zone among the signals behind the For You feed, search draws on location too, and the Shop Tab appears “where available”. The privacy policy takes approximate location from SIM card region, IP address and device settings, so the address is one input among several and the profile has to agree with it. TikTok also says that in the For You feed, for most users, their own interactions generally count for more, which is why each market gets a fresh profile that only watches.
The pool is the wrong home for an account because of how a pool works. An exit may have carried other customers’ traffic minutes before yours. It changes on every request, or after 120 minutes at most in a sticky session, and the carrier and city can change between sessions because targeting stops at the country. It cannot be reserved: on the same day, two of your accounts can draw one address. TikTok may ban “all of their accounts, including associated accounts” after serious or evasive violations, and that guidelines page does not define “associated”. One dedicated IP per account, Shop seller and Ads Manager accounts included, keeps the address from being the link.
If the job is a script rather than a person, read TikTok’s terms before you size a pack. The US terms bar automated extraction without TikTok’s written approval; the EEA, UK and Swiss terms bar extracting data with automated software TikTok has not provided or approved in writing. TikTok’s ad help classes activity created by bots and automated scripts as invalid traffic, so ad checks stay manual. Its own data routes, Research Tools for qualified non-commercial researchers and the Commercial Content API for EU ads, are narrow. Whether a workload is permitted is between you, TikTok’s terms and our Acceptable Use Policy; the pool supplies carrier addresses, not permission.

Most problems blamed on the proxy are a mismatch somewhere else, so start with the checklist no vendor page publishes. The four items should agree and keep agreeing: do not move an account between countries mid-day, and if the account was registered on a French SIM, keep it on a French carrier — a US address under a French-registered account contradicts the region TikTok assigned at signup.

The address you get is the one that carrier assigns to that SIM, and for the month it is assigned to your account and nobody else’s — one modem, one customer. Nothing is borrowed from a stranger’s phone and nothing is a pool, so the question that hangs over residential proxies — whose device does this traffic leave from? — does not arise here.
Rotation is a reconnect. The modem drops and re-registers, and the carrier — the same carrier, never a different one — hands it a new address. If a modem fails, your proxy is moved to another modem on the same carrier within seconds; the address changes, because it belongs to the SIM’s session with the carrier, not to you. The cities and carriers below are what you are actually buying, so we publish them; we do not publish how many devices we run.
