ROTATING RESIDENTIAL
PROXIES

IPs assigned by home ISPs to real households, rotating on the rules you set. This is the default choice for scraping at breadth — SEO monitoring, market research and ad verification — where you need many addresses across many places and no single one of them has to last.

RESIDENTIAL PROXIES
QUESTIONS

What is a residential proxy?

A residential proxy routes your request through an IP address that a home internet provider assigned to a real household. Because the address belongs to a genuine consumer connection rather than a server range, it is far harder for a target site to distinguish from an ordinary visitor.

What is the difference between rotating and static residential proxies?

Rotating residential changes your IP according to rules you configure — per request, on a timer, or on demand — so a large job spreads across many addresses. Static residential holds one dedicated IP indefinitely. Rotate when you want breadth and no single address matters; go static when the site remembers you between visits and a changing IP looks like a hijacked session.

How is bandwidth billed?

Per gigabyte, from $19.99 for 5 GB, and the bandwidth does not expire. There is no monthly renewal to forfeit, so an occasional heavy month and a quiet one cost the same in total as steady usage.

Can I target a specific country or city?

Yes. Targeting covers 195 countries and narrows to city level, set per request as a username suffix such as user-country-gb-city-london. That matters for anything locale-dependent — search results, pricing, ad delivery — where a US IP and a German IP see genuinely different pages.

Are residential proxies better than datacenter proxies?

For anything that inspects the IP, yes — datacenter ranges are published, easily identified and often blocked before a request is answered. Datacenter IPs are faster and cheaper, so they remain the better tool against targets that do not filter on IP reputation. Prox’Easy does not sell datacenter proxies; if that is what your target accepts, another provider will serve you better.

How do you source your residential IPs?

This is the question worth asking every provider, not just us. In March 2026 the FBI stated publicly that residential proxy IPs are obtained either with the device owner’s consent, or without the owner knowing at all — and it listed bundled SDKs, free VPNs and malware among the routes. Ask any provider how their pool is sourced, whether device owners consented, and how someone opts out. A provider that cannot answer plainly is telling you something.
